You Are Here: Downtown (2016)

Ant The Symbol · 2016 · 29 min

You Are Here: Downtown begins Ant The Symbol's series with seven pieces named for a local map: “Libby Hill,” “Main & Eighth,” “Monroe Park,” “Belle Isle,” “The Footbridge,” “Browns Island” and “Canal Walk.” blocSonic's introduction describes a new direction within his downtempo work and notes that the publisher received the material shortly before release. The landmark titles give the EP a concrete route-like vocabulary, within the series' opening downtown setting. Its seven-song scope remains distinct from the later Midnight installment.
