The Record
Sprinkling Rainbows expands Bitbasic's Monotonik output from the earlier Grating Rainbows EP to a thirteen-track album. The label situates the UK artist's work between jazz-inflected electronics and drill-and-bass rhythms, pointing to “Flannel,” “Blueish” and “Realization” as contrasting examples. A cover of “Ain't No Sunshine” ends the sequence, and the announcement specifically describes a change of direction within that final track. Release description and source notes
