The Vault (2016)

Deadly Combo · 2016 · 25 min

The Vault returns Deadly Combo with older material updated for 2016 rather than an entirely new set of initial recordings. blocSonic describes C-Doc joining the work and thanks Cable, J-Mellow and Phiktion among the collaborators. Six selections include Cable on “Skate” and “Burns,” C-Doc on “We Won't Stop,” and the producer-facing title “C da 76er Flips 3.” The source emphasizes the group's New York roots and boom-bap framing. Its archival starting point and later revisions give the EP a dual chronology within one six-piece collection. Release description and source notes

Selected edition: 6-recording original FLAC ZIP edition from the documented source. 6 audio files, 158,175,212 bytes and 24:33 of measured audio.

Verification: Archive published ZIP size and MD5; locally observed ZIP SHA-256; member CRC and size; full audio decode; every torrent piece (no independent member checksum). The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.

Selected the original FLAC ZIP edition’s 6 audio recordings. The member sequence and filenames match the source’s reviewed album program.

Six files form the updated EP. The 2016 reference applies to this revision process; the source does not supply exact original session dates for the material taken from the vault. Release description and source notes.
