The Record
Disco Biscuits's October 5, 2002 performance at Haymaker Festival in Spotsylvania, VA is preserved in this recording.
The Haymaker Festival set brings “The Very Moon” back after “Helicopters,” then returns to “Helicopters” after “Shem-Rah Boo.” Those nested reprises are a central feature of the second set, rather than duplicate tracks. “Hot Air Balloon” and “Astronaut” open the first musical sequence; “Kitchen Mitts” leads toward “Run Like Hell” at the end. The fourteen-file package retains both set banter and these connected performance boundaries. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
