Up and Away (2014)

DJ Def Chad · 2014 · 34 min

Up and Away is DJ Def Chad's second single from The Black Holocaust, with blocSonic explicitly describing new versions and songs rather than plain album copies. Eight entries include an extended title-song mix, three Master Plan-related treatments, a Freebase Mixx of “Cain” and Liquid Vision's “Shawntae” remix. The announcement thanks C-Doc, Kamillion, Low Flow, Marcus J and Chad's children among contributors, within the wider collaboration behind the single. The single package therefore provides a distinct companion to the album, with its edit and remix identities central to the edition. Release description and source notes

Selected edition: 8-recording original FLAC ZIP edition from the documented source. 8 audio files, 233,289,586 bytes and 34:18 of measured audio.

Verification: Archive published ZIP size and MD5; locally observed ZIP SHA-256; member CRC and size; full audio decode; every torrent piece (no independent member checksum). The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.

Selected the original FLAC ZIP edition’s 8 audio recordings. The member sequence and filenames match the source’s reviewed album program.

Eight recordings form the second-single package. Preserve the original mix and preferred-edit labels; the source's previously-unreleased archive reference does not identify which exact entry held that status. Release description and source notes.
