The Record
DJ Toshio's The Turntablist is a three-track Japanese release, described by the source as funk-informed house built for the dance floor. “Reconstruction” opens, “Everything Is Gonna Be Allright” occupies the middle, and “What You Got” closes it. The source spelling of the central title is retained. This short program is a discrete release, rather than a full-length DJ mix or an unnamed set divided into arbitrary sections. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
