The Record

entia non is James McDougall’s project, and sub routine is its first Resting Bell release after work on U-Cover and Test Tube. The label connects the four tracks with the landscape of southeast Queensland, describing small glitches and distant melodic fragments within that setting. ‘intermittent foregrounds’ opens, followed by ‘closed under interpretation,’ ‘macro rhetoric’ and ‘peices of eight and dubloons.’

Selected edition: 4-file MP3 edition from the documented source. 4 audio files, 116,681,672 bytes and 48:28 of measured audio.

Verification: source size and MD5; full audio decode; every torrent piece. The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.

Selected the source’s complete 4-recording MP3 edition in its documented file order.

Four indexed pieces form the EP. ‘peices of eight and dubloons’ retains source wording. Southeast Queensland is described as an influence, not documented provenance for each individual sound source. Source and edition notes.

These are source and file checks; no comparative listening assessment is claimed.
