The Record
The Wizard of OZ is Francesco Lettera's symphonic poem honoring L. Frank Baum's story. The release notes identify courage, friendship and hope as part of its setting, but also point to the wizard's humbug side. Six chapter-like titles begin with “The Cyclone” and move through the Emerald City, poppy field and wicked witch before a return home. The symphonic poem organizes its music around the book's episodes. The source credits James Jordan for cover art and points to Dharmasound for the release's origin.
