The Record
Rumbero Elegante is Alejandro Remeseiro's Konsumprodukt project presented through Spanish rhythmic influences, sampled voices, noise and field recordings. laridae's announcement emphasizes the artist's own electronic treatment of those materials rather than a traditional-style ensemble. Nineteen titles move from “Cuando te tocas” through “Divorcio Robot” and “Copas en Cullera” to “Canzone per Bobby,” with “Xilofono salsero” explicitly identified as an interlude. The electronic treatments bring sampled voices, field sound and noise into the Spanish rhythmic setting described by laridae. Release description and source notes
