The Record

Isn't this dangerous? takes Leif Folkvord's lefolk project into an eight-piece album inspired by stories of lost cosmonauts. Resting Bell identifies Folkvord as an audio and video artist from Ann Arbor and describes drones, small beats and layered noise within a roughly forty-eight-minute sequence. Each title is a personal name, from “gennady” to “alexis.” The announcement explicitly leaves the truth of the cosmonaut stories unsettled. The dedication therefore belongs to the work's imagined and memorial setting, rather than establishing the existence or fate of eight historical people. Release description and source notes
