The Record
Night Unbound pairs Marrach's jazz-associated tripstep approach with vocals by H. Stewart. The publisher describes the vocal contribution as a contrast to Marrach's rougher soundscapes, giving the collaboration a defined role rather than merely listing two names. Eleven titles include “Let the Night Tell,” “Nightingale,” “What the Night Brings” and “Ghosts of Freemont,” with “Black Diamond” at the end. Their night vocabulary continues the setting introduced by the album title. Release description and source notes
