The Record

TV Channel 17 (The Headphonica Remixes) grew from MC Ina's contribution to a Headphonica compilation into an open remix project. The label invited new submissions using the acapella provided at position 11, and the selected archive now lists fifteen versions. Contributors named in the titles include 2pol, Gustav Ruppke, Paunch, Hochlabor and Lezet. The announcement admits that the remixers did not understand the vocal text, placing the remix work around the sound of a vocal they could not translate. This edition captures the available versions at a particular point in a project designed to continue accepting contributions. Release description and source notes
