The Inception (2018)

Omega · 2018 · 37 min

The Inception is Omega's collaboration between ps and German project OKAM. Its publisher describes a four-piece journey through time and space, drawing on dark ambient, field recordings, shoegaze and breakcore associations. The titles themselves form an abstract progression: “Slit View of the Rapture,” “The Paradigm Shift, in Accordance to Plan,” “Exploring the Convoluted Singularity” and “Understanding the Limits of Symbiotic Echolocation.” The EP's identity rests on those named collaborators and its stated cinematic direction; the source provides no connection to a commercial film sharing the word inception.
