The Record
Post Mortem Photographs brings together David Vallée and Stéphane F in a release arranged as eight movements and a short interlude. The archive description reproduces a Phantom Channel review connecting the duo’s death-related Victorian imagery with sound collage and expressionist-film atmosphere. The reproduced review gives the release a death-related visual and cinematic frame. ‘Interlude’ appears after ‘Mouvement 1,’ followed by the remaining seven numbered movements, forming a nine-part sequence with a short interruption near its beginning.
