In Rainbows (2007)

Radiohead · 2007 · 43 min

Radiohead's In Rainbows was offered through the band's own website with a price chosen by the downloader, including a zero-price option. Contemporary reporting records that experiment and the separation between the ten-track digital album and the later physical package with additional material.

The core sequence starts with “15 Step” and ends with “Videotape,” with “Nude,” “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi” and “Reckoner” among its songs. The historical free offer has expired; its distribution model is a fact about the original release, not a claim that every current edition is free. This reference retains the ten-song album boundary rather than adding the second-disc tracks from another package.

Selected edition: Original 10-track indexed program; selected 160 kb/s Archive MP3 mirror from the documented source. 10 audio files, 51,204,096 bytes and 42:39 of measured audio.

Verification: source size and MD5; full audio decode; every torrent piece. The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.

All 10 Archive original MP3 files are independently pinned by the host MD5 and size, have complete ordered program identities matching the reference release and passed strict full decoding. Every torrent piece was checked. Encoding measures 160 kb/s. The edition is a historical mirror with documented source provenance limits; no artist byte-identity or comparative listening claim is made. The ten uppercase-MP3 filenames, exact lengths and 160kb/s encoding match the original 2007 download layout; the uploader caveat remains explicit.

Reference edition: the 10-entry source sequence. This release sequence was used to review the selected files.

Source limits: Archive original-file MD5 and size pin mirrored bytes; uploader provenance is not an independent artist checksum; No comparative listening assessment is claimed; Selected MP3 mirror measures 160 kb/s; no lossless or higher-quality source claim is made; Uploader explicitly qualifies original-download provenance as supposed; the filenames, ten-track program, exact sizes and measured 160kb/s encoding match the historical download layout, but artist byte identity is unproven.

These are source and file checks; no comparative listening assessment is claimed.
