The Record
String Cheese Incident's October 31, 2004 performance at Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI is preserved in this recording.
String Cheese Incident's Halloween program includes spoken delegation segments and a run of politically themed covers. The source marks “Peace Train,” “Rock the Casbah,” “Revolution” and other selections as first performances. “Rockin' in the Free World” returns later in the same sequence. Treating those returns and announcements as part of the event preserves the themed set's structure, rather than reducing it to a conventional selection of the band's own material. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
