The Record

Platters, Act 6: Plates From '08 returns Tha Silent Partner to earlier production work rather than presenting sixteen new sessions. The announcement says these pieces were previously unreleased material from 2008, selected after later Platters installments had extended the series. Dates in the titles make that archival character visible: “day dream,” “cookout,” “suzy” and “its go time” each carry a 2008 annotation. The edition therefore connects a later release schedule with an earlier working period. Release description and source notes

Transfer Report

Selected edition: 16-recording original FLAC ZIP edition from the documented source. 16 audio files, 447,965,729 bytes and 63:22 of measured audio.

Verification: Archive published ZIP size and MD5; locally observed ZIP SHA-256; member CRC and size; full audio decode; every torrent piece (no independent member checksum). The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.

Selected the original FLAC ZIP edition’s 16 audio recordings. The member sequence and filenames match the source’s reviewed album program.

Sixteen dated titles belong to this vault selection. Their 2008 annotations identify production-era context, not the publication date of Act 6; retain the dates as part of the supplied naming. Release description and source notes.

These are source and file checks; no comparative listening assessment is claimed.
