The Record
WFMU and the Free Music Archive's New Birthday Song Contest invited alternatives to the familiar birthday standard, aiming for simple, memorable songs people could sing in public and screen settings. This source preserves fifty entries with repeated generic birthday titles alongside more distinctive names such as “Foul Mouthed Birthday Robot,” “Older Than Dirt” and “Blow Out the Candles and Eat Some Cake.” Original and a cappella-combined versions also appear near the end.
