Monotonik.x3 began as a compilation assembled by an unidentified listener and circulated on peer-to-peer networks, then gained the label’s endorsement as a primer to its output through roughly 2001. Its sixteen contributions include Mosaik, Proem, Lackluster, Jiva, Substance and Tim Koch. The notes identify some pieces previously available only as module files, now represented as MP3s. The collection carries that listener-selected, cross-catalog origin into Monotonik’s official archive. Starmode’s ‘TBTD (Zyad’s Magic Carp Ride)’ joins Mosaik, Proem, Lackluster and the other contributors in the sixteen-track sequence.
