The Record
Straight Outta The FMA gives netBloc volume 27 a specific source focus: WFMU's Free Music Archive. Mike Gregoire describes three months spent narrowing a large pool of recordings to eleven selections, with Jason Sigal helping obtain lossless copies of two WFMU live performances. Dávila 666 opens with “Callejón,” while Special Moments supplies the other live title later in the sequence. Studio selections include Sydney Wayser, Jonathan Coulton and Lorenzo's Music. The collection is a curated introduction across several genres, and the two broadcast recordings retain their live identity within that broader survey. Release description and source notes

Transfer Report
Selected edition: 11-recording original FLAC ZIP edition from the documented source. 11 audio files, 247,274,788 bytes and 36:58 of measured audio.
Verification: Archive published ZIP size and MD5; locally observed ZIP SHA-256; member CRC and size; full audio decode; every torrent piece (no independent member checksum). The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.
Selected the original FLAC ZIP edition’s 11 audio recordings. The member sequence and filenames match the source’s reviewed album program.
Eleven tracks form this volume. Remove only leading index numbers from display tags while retaining performer names and Live on WFMU designations; the source's lossless-access statement does not prove selected MP3 integrity. Release description and source notes.
These are source and file checks; no comparative listening assessment is claimed.
