The Record
The Opening Salvo launches blocSonic's netBloc compilation series with ten selections across blues, electronic music, rock, pop and hip-hop. Its release statement emphasizes a substantial PDF booklet with liner notes and a series introduction, alongside artwork intended for several print formats. The selected music runs from “Seven Faces of Him” and “Nada P Flojos” through “Long Transfer” in a 2006 rework and a remixed “Steppa Foundation,” ending on “No Time for Lookin' Back” and “Don't Talk, Shoot.”
