The Record

Sous les pieds, la terRemixed grows from Philippe Baudouin and Alexandre Manzanares’s rural sound-and-photography documentary in Vaucluse, France. Baudouin made thirty recorded samples available for contributors to reinterpret, with Headphonica hosting the resulting international compilation. The source describes eighty received remixes, while the program lists eighty-three entries, including contributions labeled with Ergo Phizmiz, Lezet, Vanessa Rossetto and Satanicpornocultshop.

Transfer Report

Selected edition: 83-file MP3 edition from the documented source. 83 audio files, 790,247,050 bytes and 325:14 of measured audio.

Verification: Archive published original size and MD5; complete ordinary decoding for other recordings; exact allowlisted framed-MPEG strict decoding and whole PCM/sample equality with retained opaque suffix; every torrent piece. The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.

Recording 9 retains its complete original file, including an opaque 256-byte MGIX suffix whose meaning remains unknown. Every contiguous MPEG frame passed strict decoding; the entire decoded PCM and sample count match normal playback of the whole original. Ordinary strict whole-file decoding fails on that retained suffix. No source bytes were removed or re-encoded.

All 83 unchanged provider original checksums and all 754 torrentpiece match.82 files pass ordinary whole-file strict decode; track9 uses the exact registered framed-audio proof preserving the complete original and opaque256 suffix. Every8807 contiguous frame is strictly decoded; whole normal-original PCM hash/10,145,664sampleframes match. Ordinary whole-container strict decode remains failed and is disclosed. No byte removal, transcoding, opaque-field semantics or comparative listening claim.

The indexed edition has 83 entries versus 80 remixes mentioned in the narrative. That count discrepancy remains disclosed rather than silently dropping files. The 30 shared samples are source material, not automatically 30 additional tracks. Source and edition notes.

All 83 unchanged originals now have complete source and torrent-piece proofs. Track 9 uses the explicit registered framed-audio verification while retaining its opaque suffix; ordinary whole-container strict decoding still fails. House seeding and owned delivery verification remain separate publication checks.

Source limits: One original has two opaque 128-byte MGIX suffix records after its contiguous MPEG stream. Their field semantics have not been established; no bytes are discarded or called blank/redundant; The narrative mentions 80 remixes but publishes 83 original MP3s; all 83 are retained. The earlier 30 shared source samples are a separate source release; The three original playlists cover overlapping subsets, not a complete 83-file sequence. The selected order follows the original source filename inventory; Track 9 ordinary strict whole-container decoding fails on its retained opaque suffix. Verification instead strictly decodes every contiguous MPEG frame and proves complete normal-original PCM/sample equality; no container-wide strict success is claimed.

These are source and file checks; no comparative listening assessment is claimed.
