Ambition EP

Yuppster · 28 min

Ambition EP marks Matt Kuebrich's arrival on Monotonik as Yuppster after releases with 8BitPeoples and remix appearances on Zod and Carpark. Its seven-track sequence stretches from “Alaska” through “Ends,” with “The Draft” and “A Year From Tuesday” in the middle. The label's account emphasizes melodic electronics and animated drum programming; that provides a clearer frame than assuming the earlier chiptune associations define every track here. At roughly twenty-eight minutes, the EP has room for contrasting sketches while retaining a compact beginning-to-end shape. Release description and source notes
