The Record
Dead & Company's May 8, 2023 performance at Barton Hall in Ithaca, New York is preserved in this recording.
Dead & Company's Cornell return names MusiCares and Cornell's climate work as the event's beneficiaries. “Estimated Prophet” contains a “Get Up, Stand Up” tease, while “Morning Dew” and “Terrapin Station” end the program. The source describes a six-microphone, floating-point capture later rendered to twenty-four-bit FLAC. That capture-to-delivery distinction is part of the transfer history, alongside the personnel list identifying Jay Lane on drums. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
