The Record
Dead & Company's July 3, 2023 performance at Folsom Field in Boulder, Co is preserved in this recording.
A weather delay interrupts “Playing in the Band,” which returns after the break and surrounds “Uncle John's Band.” Dave Matthews joins the final four songs on guitar and vocals, beginning with “All Along the Watchtower.” The source notes an umbrella over the microphone setup from “Jack Straw” onward. Both the interruption and the guest sequence are event-specific facts, essential to describing this Folsom Field edition accurately. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
