The Record
Death Cab for Cutie's November 17, 2005 performance at Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR is preserved in this recording.
Members of Stars join the closing “Transatlanticism,” according to the source annotation. “Company Calls” and “Company Calls Epilogue” appear as consecutive files earlier, with “Summer Skin” and “President of What?” among the other selections. The microphones were worn binaurally in the crowd, and a separate higher-resolution version is noted. That recording perspective and guest ending distinguish the Crystal Ballroom edition without borrowing a sound-quality judgment from its equipment list. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
