The Record

Death Cab for Cutie's February 12, 2006 performance at Kamp in Bielefeld, Germany is preserved in this recording.

“Marching Bands of Manhattan” opens the Kamp set, with “What Sarah Said” and “Brothers on a Hotel Bed” appearing later among older material. “I Will Follow You into the Dark” precedes the closing “Transatlanticism.” The taper reports having run levels too high, causing clipping in several spots. A complete-looking eighteen-song list therefore does not establish an undamaged recording; the limitation belongs alongside this edition's repertoire. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
