The Record
Death Grips' Exmilitary is the thirteen-track mixtape released in 2011 and distributed through the band's own website. The group continues to provide a files section on Third Worlds, an unusually direct connection between the band's public identity and the music it made available online.
The running order is essential here. “Beware” opens the tape, “Guillotine” follows, and “Blood Creepin” closes it. File listings that sort track 10 before track 2 obscure that sequence. The corrected list below follows track numbers, with the short instrumental passages retained as separate entries.
MC Ride, Zach Hill and Andy Morin are the central personnel associated with this release. The release history places the mixtape before the group's first studio album, The Money Store. That makes it a useful starting point for the catalog: a complete early release with its own boundaries and provenance. The selected mixtape package has been verified as a thirteen-file edition.
