The Record
Disco Biscuits's December 31, 1999 performance at The Theater of the Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA is preserved in this recording.
The Disco Biscuits' millennium show includes an improvised score to Akira, divided across two files, and a separately tracked New Year's countdown. “Svenghali” returns around an inverted “Little Betty Boop.” The source also identifies several first-played ceremonial tunes inside the midnight sequence. These unusual sections make the multi-set evening more than a standard concert: its film accompaniment and celebration belong in the edition's description and file boundaries. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
