The Record
Flatbush Zombies' BetterOffDEAD brings Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice and Erick Arc Elliott into a nineteen-track project. Release coverage credits Elliott with most of its production, with Harry Fraud handling “LiveFromHell” and Obey City contributing “TP4.” Action Bronson and Danny Brown supply the guest appearances.
The running order moves from “Amerikkkan Pie” and “Nephilim” through paired “Death” tracks to “Palm Trees,” ending with “The Results Are In.” Keeping the producer exceptions visible gives a clearer account of the group's largely internal collaboration. This is the 2013 mixtape following D.R.U.G.S., with its own beginning, ending and guest list.
