The Record
Friends or Whatever’s self-titled debut is by Richmond musician Mark Herbkersman. blocSonic’s account explains that some early versions were initially intended for Just Plain Sounds, before Just Plain Ant agreed to the changed release arrangement. The seventeen-track album is described through electronics, distorted guitar and vocals, opening with ‘The Burns We Earn’ and closing with ‘Richmond Is Killing Us All.’ That label-history detail distinguishes a completed debut from a collection of unspecified early demos.

Selected edition: 17-recording original FLAC ZIP edition from the documented source. 17 audio files, 268,367,110 bytes and 39:50 of measured audio.
Verification: Archive published ZIP size and MD5; locally observed ZIP SHA-256; member CRC and size; full audio decode; every torrent piece (no independent member checksum). The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.
Selected the original FLAC ZIP edition’s 17 audio recordings. The member sequence and filenames match the source’s reviewed album program.
Seventeen indexed tracks constitute the debut album. Earlier Just Plain Sounds plans do not create a separate included demo edition. Mark Herbkersman’s identity and the release arrangement are directly supplied by the label. Source and edition notes.
These are source and file checks; no comparative listening assessment is claimed.
