The Record
Ian D Hawgood’s The Fire Will Die At Night turns the phrases of an accompanying short text into a four-part sequence. ‘The Fire’s Rush Across The Mountain’ begins it, followed by ‘Its Beautiful You See, And Its All Around,’ then recollection in ‘Remembering The Way Things Used To Be’ and the closing ‘This Night Has Come Too Soon.’ The label describes layered sound sources, small glitches, percussion and beats between ambient and electronica. It also names Takasunrise0921’s cover image. Hawgood’s writing accompanies the four recordings, while Resting Bell describes percussion, beats and small glitches within their ambient-electronic setting. Takasunrise0921’s image provides the visual presentation for this edition.
