The Record
John Butler Trio's March 12, 2004 performance at Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz, CA, USA is preserved in this recording.
“Treat Yo Mama” and “Company Sin” begin the Moe's Alley program after the introduction, with “Ocean” absent from this particular fifteen-file set. The source marks “Damned to Hell” as John Butler solo and ends the recording with “Take.” Its audience position was right of center, about twenty feet from the stage. Those details identify the edition without confusing the set with another stop on the same tour. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
