The Record

John Butler Trio's River Stage appearance was a sold-out support set for Powderfinger at Brisbane's Botanic Gardens, according to the recording notes. Eight songs span roughly fifty-eight minutes, beginning with “Treat Yo Mama,” “Pickapart” and “Company Sin.” “Betterman” runs nearly thirteen minutes, while “Take” closes at more than ten, giving the compact set two extended anchors around “Peaches & Cream,” “Home Is Where the Heart Is” and “Zebra.” The source says circulation was delayed until after the March 2004 Sunrise Over Sea launch under the band's taping policy. That later availability date is distinct from the November 2003 performance.
