The Record
John Harrison and the Wichita State University Chamber Players present Vivaldi's The Four Seasons as twelve separately identified movements. Each season has its own three-part sequence, with a slower central movement between faster outer sections. The tracklist preserves that Spring-to-Winter order, allowing the individual movements to remain identifiable. These are specific modern performances of historical compositions; the recording's source declaration is separate from the age of Vivaldi's score. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
