The Record

INTRO surveys Hollis Smith's Mr. & Mrs. Smith project within blocSonic's series for introducing artists with extensive catalogs. The publisher says fourteen pieces were chosen from more than forty releases, after two earlier netBloc appearances. The sequence begins with “Bullshite Blind” and ends with “Smokey Sunday Trip,” with titles such as “Neighborhood Funeral Dress” and “Southern Point of Sanity” in between. This is a curated retrospective rather than a fourteen-song new studio session. Release description and source notes

Transfer Report

Selected edition: 14-recording original FLAC ZIP edition from the documented source. 14 audio files, 210,645,309 bytes and 31:46 of measured audio.

Verification: Archive published ZIP size and MD5; locally observed ZIP SHA-256; member CRC and size; full audio decode; every torrent piece (no independent member checksum). The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.

Selected the original FLAC ZIP edition’s 14 recordings in the documented album and disc sequence.

Fourteen tracks form this selection. “11- 12- 1 am” is the supplied twelfth song title, confirmed in its own file tag; its numbers should remain rather than being stripped as nested track indices. Release description and source notes.

Source limits: No comparative listening has been performed; this records documentary edition selection, not a claim of perfect recording quality; No comparative listening performed. Original FLAC container selection does not establish that every upstream recording stage was lossless.

These are source and file checks; no comparative listening assessment is claimed.
