The Record
Taxidermy: Brought Back To Life is Hollis Smith's first album for blocSonic under the Mr. & Mrs. Smith name. The publisher had previously introduced the project through its netBloc and INTRO series, after encountering Smith's music on the Free Music Archive. Here the format changes to twelve new songs, presented within a country-influenced folk setting. “Dark Country Road” opens the collection, the title song follows, and “Moonshine lullabies” closes it. Transfer Report
Selected edition: 12-recording original FLAC ZIP edition from the documented source. 12 audio files, 117,581,371 bytes and 30:46 of measured audio.
Verification: Archive published ZIP size and MD5; locally observed ZIP SHA-256; member CRC and size; full audio decode; every torrent piece (no independent member checksum). The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.
Selected the original FLAC ZIP edition’s 12 audio recordings. The member sequence and filenames match the source’s reviewed album program.
The edition has twelve songs, described by the label as new material rather than a compilation of the earlier netBloc appearances. No additional band lineup is supplied in this announcement. Release description and source notes.
