The Record
My Morning Jacket's Radio City Music Hall program reaches across three discs, beginning with “Evil Urges” and ending with “One Big Holiday.” Both parts of “Touch Me I'm Going to Scream” appear, with “Steam Engine” and “Dondante” given extended placements of roughly thirteen and eleven minutes. “Bermuda Highway” and “Librarian” follow the second part of “Touch Me,” before the last disc brings “Wordless Chorus,” “The Bear,” “Lay Low” and “Run Thru.” The sequence's scale is part of its appeal as a concert document: twenty-eight indexed entries preserve more than a short selection of highlights.
