The Record

Noname's Telefone is a ten-song introduction that places personal recollection beside grief and questions of adulthood. The opening “Yesterday” leads into “Sunny Duet” and “Diddy Bop,” while “Casket Pretty,” “Bye Bye Baby” and the closing “Shadow Man” give the second half a different set of concerns. Keeping that order makes the record's movement visible without reducing it to its guest appearances.

The artist's release page supplies the complete sequence and credits. Her first full project arrived in 2016, after appearances on other Chicago artists' recordings. This edition ends with “Shadow Man”; unrelated singles and subsequent albums belong outside its ten-track boundary.
