3bit Pankow EP (2005)

Sichtbeton · 2005 · 34 min

Sichtbeton’s 3bit Pankow EP approaches hip-hop through voice fragments, synthesizers and field recordings rather than straightforward rapping, according to 12rec’s note. It names Lunte as a major contributor of beats and sounds and describes the record in relation to the project’s LP from the same year. Nine entries move from ‘Kreide’ and ‘Afternoon’ through ‘Der Antistatische Mann,’ ‘Harmonizer’ and ‘Peter Pan’ to the closing ‘Überfall.’
