The Record
“United States” begins the songs in this St. Paul Smashing Pumpkins recording, followed by “Rocket” and “That's the Way (My Love Is).” The long two-disc sequence brings “Drown,” “Tonight, Tonight,” “Zero” and “Hummer” into the same program as “Neverlost,” “Superchrist” and “Doomsday Clock.” Banter accompanies “1979” before the show’s extended encore sequence. Three separately indexed encore breaks lead to “Cherub Rock,” “With Every Light” and finally “Today,” so the ending documents repeated returns rather than collapsing them into one continuous finale.
