The Record
Smashing Pumpkins's June 24, 2007 performance at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC is preserved in this recording.
An abandoned “To Sheila” appears immediately before the completed attempt in this Orange Peel set. “If All Goes Wrong” and “The Crying Tree of Mercury” sit among more familiar Smashing Pumpkins material, while “Muzzle” and “Machine Gun” finish the encores. The source again attributes overdriven bass to the capture equipment. Both the false start and the equipment limitation remain part of this date's edition history. The source recording and release notes document this edition.
