The Record
The Psychiatric Years EP Vol. 1 retrieves older folk-oriented material from Argentina's two-person Cherry Blues Project. Resting Bell describes it as a departure from the duo's experimental, noise and field-recording work, with guitar and voice providing much of the rescued material's song structure. Seven selections form this first volume, from “Muerte en Corina Town” to “Tengo Miedo (De Morir).” The source places the recordings roughly four or five years before the release but does not give exact session dates.
