The Record
Transient’s Be EP was supplied as a new exclusive for Monotonik after the label’s enthusiasm for earlier work, including Ancient EP and Over The River And Through The Woods. Five pieces begin with ‘ice’ and ‘pinocchio jazzhands,’ pause at ‘treelighting ceremony from a distance,’ and reach ‘ace’ after ‘the triumphant return of the vigorous chipmunk.’ The source explicitly links that fourth title with an earlier EP theme.
