The Record

A$AP Rocky released LIVE.LOVE.A$AP as a free mixtape on Halloween 2011. The project brought a Harlem rapper together with producers including Clams Casino, A$AP Ty Beats and SpaceGhostPurrp, and its guests connected the A$AP crew with artists from farther afield. Release-day coverage linked directly to the collective's download.

The credits offer a practical route through the tape. Clams Casino supplies “Palace” and “Bass”; Schoolboy Q joins “Brand New Guy”; the Houston connection is explicit in “Houston Old Head.” Those names explain why a New York debut can travel across several regional rap traditions in one sequence.

The sixteen-track giveaway also has a distinct ending and a distinct version of “Purple Swag.” Later streaming availability changed the sequence, dropping “Kissin' Pink” and “Out of This World” and adding “Sandman.” The 2021 release report documents the omissions. This page follows the sixteen-track download, keeping those edition differences visible.

Transfer Report

Selected edition: Original sixteen-track mixtape from the documented source. 16 audio files, 131,203,337 bytes and 53:49 of measured audio.

Verification: pinned local ZIP SHA-256; member CRC and size; full audio decode; every torrent piece (no publisher checksum); documented lossless trailing-metadata repair (delivery bytes differ from ZIP originals). The seedbox copy matched every file’s SHA-256 and every torrent piece; all files passed public HTTPS range, length and byte checks. The house client verified the complete payload and is seeding it.

The original 16-track 2011 mixtape sequence, rather than the changed streaming reissue. Documented trailing APE/ID3 metadata repairs preserve every MPEG audio frame and the full decoded PCM hash of each ZIP original.

The original downloaded files remain available for investigation. The documented metadata repair preserves the audio without re-encoding.

Source limits: Documentary edition/source review and technical verification; no human comparative listening is claimed; Lossy encoding and community-mirror mastering lineage remain disclosed where applicable.

These are source and file checks; no comparative listening assessment is claimed.
