The Record

Aleksi Eeben’s The Four Tales belongs to the Finnish musician’s Monotonik series of numerically framed electronic releases, but its actual sequence contains six tracks. ‘Minor Tale,’ ‘Medium Tale’ and ‘Grand Tale’ lead into ‘Nightingale’ and ‘Lost Tale,’ with ‘Aspen, Maple and Pine Leaves’ closing. The label links Eeben with his earlier Heatbeat identity and describes analog synthesizer, bell and jazz-related elements.
