The Record

Camper Van Beethoven's Crocodile Cafe program opens “ZZ Top Goes to Egypt,”then includes “Turquoise Jewelry,” “Tania” and both parts of “Eye of Fatima.” “Prelude” leads to “Sons of the New Golden West” and “51-7,”followed by source-identified “White Riot” and later “Take the Skinheads Bowling.” The ending places “Pictures of Matchstick Men” before a joined “Opi Rides Again”/“Club Med Sucks” file and “Interstellar Overdrive.” The notes identify the Clash, Status Quo and Pink Floyd cover connections while requesting that lossy derivatives not be traded.
