The Record
Umphrey's McGee's January 12 9:30 Club show opens the umXXV tour marking twenty-five years of the band, according to the primary notes. “Triple Wide” leads through “Pure Saturation” and “Professor Wormbog” to the source-spelled “Cemetary Walk” parts in set one. “Led Boots” opens set two in remembrance of Jeff Beck, whose death the source dates two days earlier. “Plunger,” “Small Strides,” “Ringo” and “Kimble” follow before “Push the Pig,” with “Mantis Ghetts” into “1348” as the encore. This first night of a two-night Washington stand is preserved through Alex Leary's audience recording.

Microtech Gefell M21 microphones with nBob actives fed a MixPre-6 at 24-bit/48 kHz, then SoundStudio/xACT transfer. Anniversary-tour and memorial context follow the source. Mantis Ghetts loses its encore prefix; 1348 remains a genuine numeric title. Primary source and edition notes.
Source limits: Source recording/transfer: Microtech Gefell M21 > nBob actives > Sound Devices MixPre-6 (24/48).
These are source and file checks; no comparative listening assessment is claimed.
