Our current edition. 15-file source edition; Wayne Stielau's Neumann KM184/Mini-Me/D8 source was transferred through a Delta Dio interface, Sound Forge and CD Wave. The numbered primary setlist restores all 15 titles after a one-entry offset in imported tags; original files and order are unchanged. The unexplained asterisk on Message in a Bottle does not establish a guest. Read the transfer report.

The Record

The Breakfast’s Santa Monica set runs from a jam into “Cut Me Some Slack,” then places “Inner Glimpse” and “Escher’s Etchings” before “Sleeping Beauty” and “Lady Madonna.” Its closing stretch links “Supergroovalsticprosifunkstication,” “Taboot or Not Taboot” and “Message in a Bottle,” with “Beef Barley” finishing the written program. “Doughboy,” “Vera St.” and “Superfly Phaddy Phat” form the middle of this fifteen-entry document. The source preserves joined opening and closing passages as well as individual pieces, making the sequence a useful account of the band’s performance layout at 14 Below.
