The Record
The Breakfast's Revolution Hall set repeatedly revisits its opening ideas: “Great Big Fiery Ball in the Sky” and “Taboo or Not Taboot” return after “Hard Luck Harry,” with the first Taboot marked inverted. Phil Salvaggio from Rezi joins “May Fly Disarray” on guitar, where the notes also identify Woody Woodpecker teases. Jeremy Wall from Spyro Gyra plays keyboard on “Gladys Pimp and Kangaroos with Me,” followed by “Roadhouse Blues” with a “Higher Ground” jam. The late sequence returns to “Hard Luck Harry” before the “Mommy What's a Funkadelic” encore. These specific guests and returns give the Troy program its identity.
